As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, working closely with our production team to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Performing electrical installations and modifications as required.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implementing preventative maintenance measures.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively.
  • Competency in mechanical maintenance
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
