Guy Moreton

Director & Founder

A graduate of Nottingham University’s school of Agriculture, Guy is a sales and marketing specialist who pioneered the marketing of cut flowers and plants to multiple retailers in the UK.  He held Commercial Director and MD roles in some of the country’s largest produce and horticultural businesses before setting up MorePeople in 2000.  Guy is responsible for the overall management of the group and recruitment of Director level roles.

Peter Hunt

Director & Founder

A Chartered Management Accountant who has held senior finance roles within some of the UK's largest fresh food businesses. Has experience across the whole supply chain from primary production and packing in the meat and fresh produce sectors to added value fresh convenience food production. Peter oversees MorePerformance, our training and development division and manages the day-to-day company administration.

Michael Paske

Non Executive Director

A Nuffield Scholar and former vice president of the NFU, Michael brings to MorePeople a breadth of business knowledge and experience gained from a life long career in agriculture, horticulture and in the food sector, both in the UK and overseas.  As well as being a Non Exec Director of MorePeople, Michael is also a member of the Covent Garden Market Authority and a Director of Meiosis Ltd.

Ian Merton

Associate Director

A vastly experienced food and retail professional with a career spanning over 40 years. Ian spent 37 years at Sainsbury's PLC where he was the Food Trading Director and worked across all areas of fresh food including primary agriculture, fresh produce, fresh meat and convenience foods. Still active on a number of committees and organisations, Ian is helping to develop the meat, dairy and agriculture sectors and is head of Imperium, our Main Board Director and Non Exec Director recruitment business.

Denis Chamberlain

Associate Director

Denis is an experienced director having spent more than 45 years working in the agricultural, food and countryside sectors. A journalist by training, he successfully ran his own marketing and PR business for over 20 years and is a past Editor of Farmers Weekly and latterly Chief Executive of The Royal Agricultural Society of England. Denis was awarded the MBE for services to British agriculture in 2004.

Andrew Fitzmaurice

Recruitment Director

With a BSc in chemistry from Newcastle University, Andrew has experience in building and managing high-performance teams whilst working for a number of international recruitment businesses. He joined MorePeople in 2010 and as Recruitment Director, has day to day leadership and operational responsibility for the team as well as the recruitment of a variety of roles, including senior level commercial, procurement, finance, HR and IT positions.

Dianne Saunders

An agriculture graduate with an MSc in Landscape Ecology & Design, Dianne has extensive experience within the horticulture industry and spent time as a Nursery Supervisor, Landscaper, Gardener and Plant Nursery Manager. An experienced horticultural recruiter, she spent 7 years in the sector prior to joining MorePeople in 2008 and is responsible for recruitment within the growing/nursery sector and sales roles across the garden centre supply chain.

Brad Peck

A graduate of Nottingham Trent University Business School, Brad re-joined MorePeople after having spent a successful placement year with us in 2010 /11. Brad's primary role is recruitment within the Garden & Leisure team where his main focus is on garden centres and landscapers. However, he also utilises his well honed research skills to search out talent for managerial level placements across all area of the business.

Matthew Cook

A graduate of Nottingham's School of Biological Sciences and former General Manager for Koppert UK Ltd. Matthew has a wealth of experience within the salad growing and horticultural services sectors, both in the UK and US, where he was CEO of one of America's largest tomato growing operations. As head of technical, he is responsible for overseeing all technical, growing/production and agricultural roles within our food team.

Steve Briggs

Having graduated in business studies, Steve joined theTesco graduate training programme. He spent a number of years within the retail store management environment as a Fresh Produce Manager, Fresh Food Manager and Deputy Store Manager. Morten Andresen

Recruitment Specialist

With a family background in the food and garden & leisure industries, Morten started his career in the hospitality industry before switching to the supply chain to work in procurement for one of the UK’s largest cut flower businesses. After 3 years in procurement he moved over to sales and has held account management roles in both cut flowers and the fresh produce sector.  Morten is our commercial and account management specialist working on roles in the fresh produce and fresh food sectors.

Luan Harrison

A Harper Adams graduate with a BSc Honours in Agri-Food Marketing & Business Studies, Luan has extensive experience in the fresh food industry having worked in procurement for Bakkavor and a fresh produce importer.  She also worked as a National Account Manager for a cut flowers business. Helen is an experienced horticulturalist with a career that has encompassed both commercial and amenity sectors. She holds an MBA from the University of Essex, a BSc in Horticulture from Writtle College and has had managerial positions with The Royal Botanic Gardens and English Heritage.
