Our Recruitment Edge!
Right from the outset we recognised that to create a successful recruitment and training business, MorePeople would need to be able to offer services to our clients that truly reflected their needs and their values. Coming from a background of senior management within fresh food, fresh produce and horticulture, Guy Moreton and Peter Hunt, the founders of MorePeople, have a clear understanding of the demands and pressures faced by both employers and employees operating in these dynamic and sometimes challenging sectors.
This practical understanding of the sectors we operate in underpins our whole business philosophy and influences not only what we do, but how we do it. We have experienced the same types of challenges and working environments that many of our clients and candidates find themselves operating in every day.
Does this make us any better at what we do? We like to think so - and so do many of our clients. Our experience enables us to get to the heart of the matter in as short a time as possible. The sectors we operate in are fiercely competitive and we understand the need to remain customer focused at all times.
At MorePeople you will always find:
- A straight forward, no-nonsense approach to business
- Practical and objective advice about your situation – candidate or client
- People who are genuinely interested in you and your ambitions
- A promise to never forget who it is that makes us a success – our customers
So what makes MorePeople different to other recruiters?
- We pride ourselves on knowing our sectors inside out.
- Our teams have real hands on experience, having worked IN our sectors as well as ON them as recruiters and trainers.
- An unsurpassed knowledge base of our sectors that stems from a team that has combined industry experience of over 150 years!
- We maintain an active involvement with the trade bodies that represent our sectors – for example, the IoH, the IFST, the HTA, the FPC and GIMA.
- We actively promote our sectors via sponsorship of events such as The Young Horticulturalist of the Year, The Grower of the Year awards, The Re:fresh awards, Garden Retail awards, the annual IFST lecture and Nuffield Scholars’ conference.
- We like to think of ourselves as not just recruiters in fresh food and horticulture but also as advocates of our sectors who care deeply about the people and the businesses we represent.
