Background
Sophie grew up in Bourne, Lincolnshire, but has always loved living near Stamford as it’s such a beautiful and historic town. During her education and plans for university, Sophie was presented with an offer to progress through the ranks at The Six Bells, a Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant. Starting as a waitress, she progressed into management roles, developing strong leadership, customer service, and people management skills. In 2025, Sophie was promoted to Operations Manager for the launch of a sister venue, The Rose & Crown, where she gained experience in business operations, recruitment, onboarding, and building a new team from the ground up. This experience sparked her passion for recruitment and working with people, leading her to pursue a career in the industry.
