Savills Margaret Street, 33 Margaret Street, London W1G 0JD

Women in Food and Farming is a group of professional women in food, agriculture and the land-based industries at all stages of their careers, who get together to discuss business issues, support each other via mentorship and advice, and help generate networks of contacts that might be useful to themselves and their businesses.

Founded by Grocery Code Adjudicator, Christine Tacon, and supported by MorePeople, the group meets three times a year, with two informal networking events with interactive presentations on relevant topics, followed by light refreshments and lots of time for networking. This is the Spring Networking evening and we are delighted to welcome Anna Harris, a Senior Strategic Planner for Stein IAS, a multi award-winning global marketing agency, who will be presenting her MBA dissertation findings on the subject of 'Negotiating Ambition: Mothers' experiences of Career Progression in the UK Grocery Industry'.

The group is open to anyone who feels our network would be of benefit to them – to meet, network, offer moral support, seek out mentors, ask questions and share experiences. A key aim is to promote the sectors we represent and actively encourage others into the industry, be it the younger generation or those changing their career path.

It's free to join the group, either via invitation from an existing member or by completing the sign-up form. We also offer a small number of guest tickets available for guests of existing members.
