About the Client

A leading UK based grower and packer of quality top, stone and soft fruit this A family-owned business has over half a century of experience. They provide quality produce to multiple leading retailers across the UK. Growing Apples, Strawberries and Cherries on approx 445 hectares across 11 sites within a 5-mile radius there is plenty of room for growth across all sites.

About the Role

In this role you will be expected to work closely with a range of major retailers to help maximise profit and growth across the whole portfolio, you will be required to put plans in place to meet the demands of each client, as well as be able to be flexible within a fast paced, challenging environment. Meeting and building relationships with retailers will be a big factor in this role, you will be the face of the company and expected to deal with all issues and queries.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you will need to have 2+ years of account management experience, as well as a strong background in fresh produce, ideally top fruit, soft fruit or stone fruit. You will need to have dealt with retailers in the past to understand the day to day demands. We are looking for a clear communicator and someone who is proactive, a good planner and has an eye for detail.
