The Opportunity

A leading UK fresh‑produce business is looking for a Farm Engineer to join its on‑site engineering team. You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of agricultural and heavy‑duty machinery used across a large‑scale farming operation

This is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, outdoor‑focused environment and wants a stable Monday-Friday pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Machinery maintenance - servicing tractors, harvesters, conveyors, graders, and other farm equipment
• Mechanical diagnostics - identifying faults and carrying out repairs quickly and safely
• Welding & fabrication - MIG or TIG welding for repairs and custom builds
• Preventative maintenance - ensuring machinery uptime during peak seasons
• On‑site engineering support - responding to breakdowns and supporting farm operations

What You'll Need

• Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience in agricultural engineering, heavy machinery, or similar industrial environments
• Strong MIG or TIG welding skills
• Ability to work independently across a large site
• A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
