The client

This is a brilliant opportunity for you to work in a forward thinking and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running of the glasshouse, ensuring that all crops are grown to the highest quality. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all food safety requirements are adhered to.

The role

You will be responsible for all soft fruit production in a modern glasshouse. You will be part of the senior management team so you will be required to report on the progress at the Glasshouse site and raise any issues. You will need to be a strong decision-maker, able to adapt and be flexible.

The candidate

You will be a passionate and experienced grower who knows how to run a commercial glasshouse. You will be a real people person and enjoy motivating and managing a team. You will also have excellent technical horticultural knowledge and a strong understanding of food safety. Fantastic communication skills are also a must.
