Role - Graduate Design Engineer

Location - Peterborough

Package - £25k - £30k salary per annum, plus benefits, 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays

We are currently working with one of the fastest growing businesses within the Process and Food Sector, who are currently expanding across the board as part of their long-term growth strategy. The business has already doubled their head count over the last 3 years, with the plan to add an additional six heads by the end of 2023 across various departments.

The Role

The business is looking for two Graduates who have graduated within Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or Design Engineering. The role comes with full training, so no work experience is necessary, however if you have experience outside of your degree this is only going to be of benefit to your application.

The Graduate Design Engineer will be working in their Design Team, alongside 10 other Engineers and under the guidance of one of their Lead Design Engineers, designing fully automated Process and Manufacturing Equipment used in the Food, Beverage, Process, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical Industries.

About You

The client is looking for candidates with the following knowledge or experience:

• A Degree on Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Design
• Knowledge of how to perform Engineering Calculations
• Ability to use Solidworks

As this is a trainee position, do not worry if you are not an expert as full guided training, including weekly team peer reviews, will guide you through.
