About Our Client

Our client has been going from strength to strength since they were first established in the 1970s and have grown to over 30 acres, which now included glasshouses, poly tunnels and an outdoor growing area. This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to grow and establish themselves as a major player in the horticulture industry.

About the role

The Grower Manager will deliver the diverse growing requirements of the clients commercial crops, overseeing all Growing functions, and contributing to the cost effective supply of product to a professional standard. You will be reporting into the MD and manage a team of 7 which will be made up of Growers and Trainee Growers.

About the candidate

The candidate will have practical horticultural knowledge with experience in Ornamentals and also have a qualification in commercial Horticulture to a minimum of Level 3, or equivalent. You will need a number of years of growing experience in production horticulture, you will also have managed a team before and have good leadership skills.
