About our Client

Our client is a leading packer of fresh produce into the retailer sector, they are at the forefront for innovation and customer quality is key for them to drive their business forward

About the Role

As Head of Technical, you will be responsible for driving the technical agenda for M&S and working directly with the Head of Group Quality and Compliance to ensure that all legal requirements are met in terms of all things technical and growers are managed appropriately. Working in collaboration with product director and product development teams to assist technically in delivering successful new product development for the category. This role will report to the Group Technical Director.

The Ideal Candidate

This is a senior-level role, so you will need a proven track record of working in a Senior Technical role within fresh produce. You will have good experience of working with retailers in a customer-facing role. You will be a strategic thinker and people leader with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
