This role is ideal for a horticulturist who enjoys plant care alongside regular client interaction and takes pride in maintaining displays to a consistently high standard.

You'll work independently across a portfolio of client sites, carrying out routine maintenance of interior (and some exterior) planting schemes, while building trusted, long‑term relationships with clients. This is a people‑facing maintenance role suited to someone confident in practical horticulture, plant health, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain interior planting displays to a high professional standard
  • Diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance visits across multiple client sites
  • Visit typically 2-8 sites per day on 2-3 weekly maintenance cycles
  • Communicate professionally and confidently with clients on site
  • Complete site reports and maintain accurate service records
  • Manage time effectively across a set maintenance route
  • Work safely at all times, following risk assessments and method statements
  • Liaise with line management to ensure service standards are consistently met

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in horticultural maintenance or plant care
  • Strong horticultural knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for plants
  • Customer‑facing experience and confidence dealing with clients
  • Reliable, professional, and well‑presented at all times
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
  • Comfortable navigating large commercial buildings and varied environments
  • Physically able to carry out plant maintenance tasks, including use of step ladders and watering equipment
  • Horticultural qualifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Driving licence beneficial, though not essential for centrally based candidates

What's on Offer

  • £29,250-£32,900 DOE
  • Permanent role with full‑time or part‑time options available
  • Consistent maintenance routes and long‑term client relationships
  • Training, development, and ongoing support provided
  • Supportive team environment within a growing horticultural business
  • Quarterly and annual performance‑related bonuses
  • Company benefits package including holiday allowance and healthcare support

If you're a horticulturist who enjoys combining plant care with customer interaction and wants a stable, long‑term role in interior landscaping, this could be an excellent opportunity.
