We're working with a fantastic agricultural business that needs a laboratory assistant to join their team.

About Our Client

This leading business was formed in 2005 and over the past 15 years have gone from strength to strength. They operate across the whole of the UK and aim to be the first-choice partner for crop production and crop marketing. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for a trainee agronomist to join their team.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for operating the weighbridge and sampling equipment for incoming and outgoing loads. You will be testing and recording samples and working closely with store staff and despatch to ensure procedures are followed. You will manage the inspection and analysis of crops, as well as processing vehicle bookings both in and out of the site whilst upholding Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take their first step into the agriculture industry. A basic understanding of agriculture is needed, but the desire to learn is key. Communication is essential, as you will be dealing with colleagues and customers.
