Lead Engineer | Fresh Produce

This is an excellent Lead Engineer opportunity within a busy and fast paced business. They are looking for a multi-skilled, diligent and highly capable Engineer / Supervisor who is able to balance administrative duties with being on the tools. You will demonstrate that you are a natural leader with strong organisational skills.

In a supervisory type role, you will be responsible for the leadership, planning and stock management of the Engineering department. As well as being a hands-on Engineer responding to breakdowns, you will input lean thinking into the department and map out PPM and TPM. You will help develop and lead the team, in an attempt to ensure the ever growing nature and development of the Engineering team.

In this role you will have a proven track record as an Engineering Supervisor/Lead Engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise. It is absolutely essential that you have experience in managing people, scheduling work and budget control within either a fresh produce, agricultural or food manufacturing business.
