Maintenance Engineer | Food | Milton Keynes

Salary:
£34,000-£39,000 (dependent on exp.)
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Rotating days & nights)

Are you a mechanically biased maintenance engineer wanting to utilise your skills within a growing business? Or are you an engineer at the beginning of your career that wants to develop and grow your skill base and knowledge? If either of these sounds like you, then we want to hear from you…

About Our Client

We are excitedly helping recruit for an internationally renowned Food Manufacturer, based in Buckinghamshire, that produces some of the highest quality products within their specialism.

About the Role

When it comes to the day-to-day, you will be responsible for all reactive maintenance of the production lines, along with working alongside the wider Engineering team on more strategic planned preventative maintenance across the business. You will work very closely with the Production Team to ensure that the production process is working effectively and efficiently, and issues are being resolved.

Something to keep in mind is that……with future plans of growth on the horizon, individuals that want to grow and develop, there may be an opportunity to be involved with exciting continuous improvement/growth projects throughout the business.

The Ideal Candidate

Obviously, Engineering or Machine Setter experience is needed to be able to competently complete tasks within the role, however, the other important aspect of this piece of recruitment is attitude. Along with the hands-on capability, the individual must have a can-do attitude and be willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in wherever possible and needed. Being mechanically biased is ideal, but if you have skills and knowledge that can be utilised further by the business, then this is also well worth considering.

How to Apply
