Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role where you're part of a team rather than just another number?

This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly engineering team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Wisbech. The site is clean, well-run, and offers a good working environment where engineers are trusted to get on with the job and make a real difference.

The business is looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth running of production equipment, carry out preventative maintenance, and keep downtime to a minimum.

Shift pattern:

• Sunday: 07:00 - 15:30

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30

A consistent day-based shift pattern with no nights and no rotating shifts.

The role will involve:

• Responding to breakdowns and production issues

• Electrical fault finding, repairs, and installations

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance

• Maintaining factory machinery, equipment, and site services

• Completing engineering work requests and maintenance records

• Supporting contractors when required

• Ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene, and housekeeping are maintained

• Time-served Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical bias with strong fault-finding skills

• Mechanical and electrical engineering background

• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience

• A proactive, hands-on approach

• Ability to work well within a small engineering team
