Hours: Monday to Friday role. Flexibility needed

Are you an experienced Merchandise planner within Horticulture? Do you work in a fast environment where you have to think on your feet? Are you very good at Data analysis and forecasting? If so then I want to hear from you.

About Our Client

We are currently recruiting for an incredibly large, well-established business, who supply their products across the UK. Having grown YOY, they are not looking to slow down, so are in need of someone who can join the business and add real value.

About the Job

You will be responsible for working alongside the Planning team, to ensure Production is scheduled and effective throughout the business. You will work closely with other departments and teams, looking at forecasting and ensuring materials, resources, and anything else needed, is on-site and ready for Production. Success will be determined by maximising sales opportunity, product availability and managing stocks in and out of the Business whilst achieving agreed margin targets

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful, you must have an understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You must be comfortable, with creating V-Look-up formulas and pivot tables (advanced Excel needed). Ideally, you will have experience in planning within a fast-paced environment. Exposure to/or working closely with forecasting would be highly advantageous, but not necessary. Being flexible, hard-working, and ambitious within this aspect, will set you in good stead as the business grows.
