The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement projects across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Working closely with production teams to maximise performance

What You'll Need

• Engineering qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or similar industries
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of health and safety best practice
• Proactive attitude towards improvement and reliability
