Outdoor Harvest Supervisor | Fresh Produce

One of Europe's leading farming and fresh produce businesses is looking for an Outdoor Harvest Supervisor to join their team in Essex due to farm expansion. You would be supporting the Harvest Manager with the day-to-day running of the outdoor harvest teams, ensuring the operation runs as smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

Your responsibilities:
Supervising the harvesting teams
Crop walking and assessing all outdoor crops for quality and availability.
Taking an interest in trials and taking an active part in the review of the varieties being trialled.
Effectively communicating with the Harvest and Operations Managers.
Assisting the Harvest Manager in setting budgets.
Controlling productivity of your team

You:
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience in harvesting and also operational skills. You will also have an understanding of fresh produce crops. You will be motivated, ambitious and happy to get stuck in.
