Planning & Development | Rural Surveyor | Landowners

We are working with a small independent firm who are looking for a rural surveyor to join the planning and development team working on behalf of the landowner as a result of an increasing client base.

Our client

A traditional independent firm with a modern outlook and approach are seeking a new member of the team to take on the growing caseload.

A traditional equity partnership, the company are involved in rural surveying, livestock markets, planning and development, and estate management. Customer relations is at the center of everything they do, working with clients on a long-term basis rather than looking for a quick fee.

The role

Assisting with landowners' questions, projects range from simple barn conversion up to a few hundred homes on a 200ac plot as part of urban expansion.

Your focus will be on the long terms best solution for landowners, providing professional and practical solutions.

Initially negotiating options and promotions which will then turn into land sales the role will require a lot of juggling, and managing your time appropriately. Support will be given by the wider team and training can be given to individuals to help them succeed in the role.

The candidate

Ideally from a rural surveying background or a town planner who has an affinity with rural affairs.

The role can be tailored around your level of experience, but someone chartered with a little experience would be ideal, however, there is scope for someone in the final stages of their APC or someone looking for an equity partnership with a company can be accommodated for the right person and character fit.

How to Apply

There is a great salary on offer and a package to match and will be in line with experience.

Perks include a flexible work from home policy and the opportunity to eventually become a partner in the firm, something which is incredibly rare. KPI based bonus is also included
