Salary: £35,000 or £250per day
Contract: Fixed Term (6 months)

About the Job

As Production Manager, you will have overall responsibility for Production Process areas, ensuring that Health & Safety, Quality, and products are maintained to the highest of standards. You will be the main point of contact for many within production, ensuring that discipline, quality and processes are all meeting the required levels for both the business and customer. You will also, be involved with improving line efficiencies and reducing waste.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Production/Operations Manager, within the Fresh Produce/Food industry, or at least having handled products with a short shelf life. Within this, you will be a strong people manager, ensuring continued buy-in from the people who surround you. You will manage KPI performance, to ensure business needs and performance are maintained and improved. Being the main point of contact throughout the night, you will need to be decisive, but keen the business needs in mind, having commercial awareness.
