Our Client

Due to expansion within the business, we are now looking to recruit for a Production Supervisor within the Growing team. Our client is one of the UK's leading producers in the industry. The position is based in Colchester.

The Role

Within the role you will have day to day supervision of the growing teams. Overseeing the planting and irrigation operations and quality of all commercial crops. You will ensure that the field planting / drilling operations are prepared in accordance with operational procedure as directed by the Production Manager. You will also make sure that all growing teams are working within the company guidelines and all hygiene and dress code rules in the field are being adhered to

The Candidate

A good understanding of outdoor crops is required. Also, an understanding of cultivation techniques and soil management. Being able to manage relationships and good people management skills is needed. A background within Agriculture in essential.
