About the Role

As Retail Manager, you will be focused on ensuring the retail and seasonal department is kept to the highest standard. You will be excited about providing excellent customer service and encouraging the team around you to do the same. You will have a keen interest and career-focused experience in a garden centre, outdoor leisure or home retail as this role will give you the autonomy to source and buy products directly from the UK and overseas suppliers. Your passion for customer service will be evident and you will be able to use this to offer advice to customers, create excellent displays and maintain stock.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a retail management role and be looking for a new challenge. You will be confident in running a small team and can train, develop, and motivate the people around you. You will have a commercial mind, understanding stock control methods, increasing add-on sales and acknowledging areas of improvement within the Garden Centre.
