We are recruiting an exciting role as Senior Grower, to join our growing team in a new cut flower growing business in Spalding.

About Our Client

We are excited to be working with a very progressive business that supplies plants to major retailers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they have recently acquired a new nursery and are looking for a passionate horticulturalist to join the team.

About The Role

In this role, you will be managing the production of a 10-acre glasshouse site. You will be reasonable for managing a team of staff. You will manage the production process from seed through to sale and cover the irrigation, pest and disease monitoring, crop planning and harvest.

The Ideal Candidate

We're open to looking at candidates from a range of backgrounds. Some horticulture/growing knowledge would be ideal but it's more about finding the right fit for the business. Training is in place for the right person and the enthusiasm to develop a quickly growing business is essential.
