Senior Insight Manager | Fresh Produce | Hertfordshire

We are working with one of the fastest growing and most progressive fresh produce businesses in the country. They are currently looking for a Senior Insight Manager. This is a critical role within the business and one which allows them to consistently deliver industry leading insight. They have recently restructured the way the Commercial and Category team works and have ensured that every step is supported properly and sufficiently.

The Job:
You will be working with the Head of Category and the Commercial Managers to provide insight on sales data, upcoming trends, competitor activity etc.
You will be responsible for pulling together customer presentations for the Commercial team, focusing on key areas of the range.
You will be pairing up with a Commercial Manager to align with one or two of their key customers to provide good continuity and clarity.

The Candidate:
This role could suit a couple of different backgrounds. They have taken on Retail Buyers previously and taught them the specific category requirements for the role, or strong category people but taught them the products and commercial side.
Good experience in fresh produce and an understanding of various data sources would be a distinct advantage, but isn't essential depending on your overall experience.
You will be able to work as part of a close knit team and understand the value this can add.
You will possess strong analytical and numerical skills.
