Our client

Our client is a highly successful soft fruit farm in Aberdeen and they are looking for a Grower Manager to be responsible for the growing and agronomy of the crop to ensure it meets the needs of retail supermarket customer specifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for future progression opportunities.

The role

The main responsibilities will be quality assurance, crop husbandry, achieving production targets & goals, managing and monitoring the cycle from plant delivery to harvest. To plan and deliver the annual husbandry tasks and labour requirements. To manage the team of operators work schedules and spraying plans and liaise with other management for labour requirements and ensuring all the team can undertake the works.

The candidate

We are looking for a strong communicator both within and outside of the growing team. Someone who has experience of growing soft fruit and understands how an effective and efficiently run growing operation can contribute to stronger overall business profitability.
