About Our Client

Our client is a major player in one of the world's most demanding food markets. They supply the largest UK supermarkets with a range of fresh fruit, flowers, juice & ice cream. They have consistently grown in the last few years and recently invested in a new site for MM Flowers in Alconbury.



About the Role
This role will focus on the commercial relationship and supply chain for our clients' Morrison's business. The role will be based out of the Co-op's head office in Manchester. You will utilise your supply chain and forecasting experience to drive efficiencies and make the most of any commercial opportunities within the customer. You will be adept at using Excel and forecasting experience would be a real positive. You will use these skills to ensure a sufficient supply of products to meet the demands of consumers, whilst simultaneously reducing waste in a very fast-paced and short shelf-life product environment.



The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a supply chain / commercial support experience in a food retailer/food retail supplier. You will be hungry to progress your career and potentially move into a national account manager role in the future. You will be a strong communicator and be able to stand on your own two feet and be self-assured. You will be able to problem-solve and work closely with internal/external teams to deliver.



Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a bare minimum, you will need to have a relevant degree, be confident and a strong communicator. This role will involve working on advanced Excel spreadsheets so practical experience of using VLookUp's, Pivot Tables etc.
