We are currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy. Due to continued expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRTPI qualified Senior Planner to join the team in Suffolk. This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that is growing and will offer significant opportunity for future progression.

The Job:

Focus is rural and experience of working on rural planning matters in East Anglia is therefore desirable but not essential.

Ability to provide a comprehensive planning consultancy service to clients.

Preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, coordination of specialist consultants, promotion of land through the local plan process, feasibility advice and representation of clients at committees/hearings/public inquiries.

Opportunity to be involved in the development and strategic direction of the business with partnership opportunities for the right person.

The Candidate:

Member of Royal Town Planning Institute

Post qualified experience ideally

Public or private sector experience with a proven track record of successfully dealing with a range of minor and major development management projects.

Highly motivated and organised individual who will have responsibility for a full caseload of clients.

Strong communication skills with a personable, professional and approachable manor.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Driving licence, car owner and excellent IT skills are essential.
