About the Job

Our client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join the team in Sleaford and drive forward a best-in-Class attitude, this role will primarily be responsible for planning, in a timely manner transport requirements on a day 1 / day 2 basis of loads from the farms to factories so that the team meet the required agriculture plan and logistics service and cost performance targets.

The Ideal candidate

2 years+ transport experience in a fast-paced multi-site Owned account or 3PL Logistics operation.

Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail with good knowledge of geographical locations of customer depot.

Experience in monitoring, tracking and driving Logistical performance through agreed KPIs.

Internal and External Customer facing experience, able to react quickly and calmly in delivering practical solutions to operational issues.
