Background
A graduate of Nottingham University’s school of Agriculture, Guy is a sales and marketing specialist who pioneered the marketing of cut flowers and plants to multiple retailers in the UK. He held Commercial Director and MD roles in some of the country’s largest produce and horticultural businesses before setting up MorePeople in 2000.
Guy is responsible for recruitment of Director level roles and specialises in working with main Board Directors and Non-Executive Directors in the SME marketplace.
An interesting fact about Guy...
Guy was one of the first people to run a 'bull beef' unit in the UK. During a gap year he worked on an arable farm in Suffolk and the farmer insisted that he did something proactive, over and above driving a tractor, in order to 'earn his keep'! Having watched a farming programme on TV about 'bull beef' in the USA, Guy suggested introducing 'bull beef' production in Suffolk. The farmer agreed and Guy set it up from scratch!
