We understand that networking within these sectors can be challenging, and with our representation in these industries, a gap was noticed in the opportunities present for young people.

Why young professionals are joining our group
Networking events can sometimes feel intimidating or overwhelming. Our goal is to create a casual, enjoyable space where similar minds can network and feel part of the wider food and farming community.
Free & Informal: It costs nothing to attend our events! We just want to provide a welcoming environment for young professionals.
Build Real Connections: You meet a diverse range of professionals, operating in a variety of sectors, which can help to open different career avenues for you.
Fun Social Activities: From wine tasting to tapas nights or bingo sessions, YPFF is not your typical networking session. It helps to break the ice by keeping the activities fun and unique.

Networking that makes a difference
At one of our recent events, Hannah had placed a candidate into her very first role in the industry. She decided to come along, and by chance, a colleague from a different department at the same company was also there. Not just this, another attendee was on their MDS secondment and due to join the same business in a couple of months' time!
It was brilliant to see three young professionals from the same company, all at different stages in their careers, connecting at one of our events.
