National Account Manager | Food service OR retail Background

Salary: ~£35-42k.

About Our Client
Our client is a leading bakery products provider which they supply to the major retailers and food service providers. They are family owned and have invested in the latest technology to deliver the best products to their customers.

About the Role
As a result of business expansion, our client is looking for an experienced account manager with a background in the food service or retail sector. This role will lead the management of a key supermarket customer(s) and food service clientele focusing on the trends in the market, range of products to offer, packaging, quality, commercial results to form a long term JBP with the customer. You will utilise your experience to drive the commercial relationship with the customer. You will work closely with the team to deliver results and account growth.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering account growth and commercial results within either a food service or retail background. You will also be able to deliver new business with targeted customers. You will be willing to travel, get stuck in and be devoted to delivering a great service. You will be a strong leader with an array of soft skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to make decisions for yourself and work autonomously.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in Account Management within food service or Retail, have good supply chain knowledge and have experience in supply major UK retailers/supermarkets/ Restaurants.
