About the Candidate: If you are a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Representative with experience dealing with various customers, including retailers, garden centres, farmers, and small to medium-sized growers, this could be the next step you've been looking to take in your career. You will be responsible for the West Midlands & Wales region and will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with your customers.
About the Role:
This role offers a varied and stimulating opportunity for the right candidate to progress alongside the company's growth.
Unlike other seed companies you will engage with both Garden Centers for seed packet sales and wholesale seed while also interacting with small to medium-sized growers for wholesale seed.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Achieve and surpass sales revenue targets.
- Negotiate favourable commercial terms to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Strategically plan and cover all areas within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate a reasonable understanding of working computer systems.
- Proven track record in field sales, account management, and business development.
- Good knowledge of gardening practices.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel within the designated region.
