About the Client

With a portfolio of delicious and nutritious products ranges from ingredients to cook with, to centre of plate, in-between and on the go consumption moments, this fast-growing client is looking to expand its Finance department by bringing in a new Assistant Accountant. Being a main player in the plant-based meat category, they produce minced, pieces, sausages, burgers, balls, nuggets, cutlets, slices and much more.

About the Role

In this role as an Assistant Accountant, you will be expected to help run the day-to-day financial responsibilities of the business. You will work closely with the Finance Director across a range of tasks and processes. This will include Purchase and sales ledgers, payroll, weekly invoices as well as the day-to-day operational side of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you will need to have current experience within an accountancy position, ideally working towards or completely the AAT qualifications. Experience within payroll systems would be a plus as well as excellent excel skills. You will need to be proactive, hard working and have a keen eye for detail with strong communication skills.
