Assistant Broiler Farm Manager | East Anglia | £Competitive + Accommodation

We are working with an established, new build broiler unit, who are looking to add an Assistant Manager to their poultry farming team. This person would be working with very modern equipment as the site was built in the last couple of years.

The Job:
The roles responsibilities will include the daily running of the poultry unit from the intake to flock turn around and clear out. You would be covering flock welfare, hygiene of the facility, ventilation management, record keeping and compliance and daily walking duties. This varied role will keep you outdoors and indoors working as part of a team and giving you the opportunity to learn from an experienced Farm Manager on the role and share responsibilities with them on the farm.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have the following skillset:
A livestock (ideally specific to poultry) qualification or a good level of experience working with livestock will also be considered.
Great communication skills and a willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
Good IT skills to allow for the successful recording of data.
