About our Client

We are recruiting for an established creamery, and they have a fantastic vacancy for an Assistant Technical Manager to join the team on this lovely island.

About the Role

As Assistant Technical Manager you will deputise for the Technical Manager in ensuring the Safety, Quality and Legality of product and processes within the organisation.

You will take a hands-on approach to product quality and safety, taking ownership to identify areas of concern and working with the Technical Manager to undertake root cause analysis and provide solutions or recommendations to key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

For this role, you will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology or a food safety-related discipline. With a minimum of 3 years of working in a food manufacturing environment. Ideally, experience of managing a team, HACCP and food safety qualified. We are looking for diary knowledge ideally, if not you must be experienced in chilled food production.

This is a great role for career development and the opportunity to progress into the Technical Manager position in 12-24 months.
