Our client is a long established BRC/IOP certified manufacturer of high quality thermoformed packaging.
About the Role
Our client is now requiring an additional Thermoforming Business Development Executive. The focus will be on generating new sales growth in the Thermoforming packaging sector as well as retaining existing customer accounts and re- activate lapsed accounts. You will be given the freedom to use your own sales initiative with the support of the internal sales team. Hybrid working role subject to candidates' location with a Midlands / Southern base preferred.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have recent proven experience in new business development or a customer focused position within the packaging industry. They will have experience of the thermoforming industry and knowledge of the packing sector. The ideal candidate with have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. A successful record at developing new packaging from brief to delivery and a history on developing and negotiating large value contracts is preferred.
The minimum requirements for this role include experience and knowledge of the packaging sector as well as experience in business development. In addition, candidates will have experience retaining existing customer accounts and re-active lapsed accounts.
The successful applicant will move through a two-stage interview process; an initial teams call followed by an in-person interview.
