Business Development Manager - Food Manufacturing
Job description
Business Development Manager - Food Manufacturing
Are you looking for a rewarding job that recognises the business you win?
It's a classic. You go out and win new business for your company. You work hard to open doors, build relationships, and get involved in tender processes. And then finally. Finally. You get some business over the line.
And, what do you get?
If you're lucky, you probably get a pat on the back and a well done. Go and do it again.
Sound familiar?
Do you want more?
This role promises to celebrate wins and offer incentives for those who can go out and have a positive impact on sales and business development.
Have you got a proven track record of winning new business with food manufacturers? Can you close deals and ensure you win contracts? If so, we want to hear from you. And our client wants to reward those who can deliver.
The role would suit people with a background in proteins, but that isn't a must. The must-haves are things all good business development people have in spades. Tenacity. Can-do attitude. Self-motivated. Driven. All of the buzzwords you'll see in every similar job spec or advert.
Yes, there will be some negatives. You'll need to be able to travel and spend some time away from home to visit customers and the manufacturing sites. They'll be admin to do. Every salesperson's worst nightmare. But, you'll be used to these things, right? There will be some internal influence required to get deals done and drive this part of the business.
