Business Development Manager | Foodservice
Are you fed up with being promised commission or bonuses, career progression and personal development without them delivering?

You'll know what a business development role is all about. You'll go and win new business, grow accounts and increase sales. In this particular case, you'll join a foodservice channel with a ~£6m t/o with ambitions to grow that business. You'll be highly visible within the business and if you can come in and turn £6m t/o to £8m you'll be rewarded and the toast of the town.
They have a good product range and are focused on sustainable food packaging. They are particularly strong in the food on the move sector.
Understandably, there will be some downsides. You'll need to travel to get in front of customers and start sales processes. They'll be a junior commercial executive to support you and you will need to mentor as part of your remit. The business would also like you in the office ~1 day a week but they are open-minded for the right person.
On the flip side of that, you'll have loads of freedom to build a sales pipeline and flexible working to work around you to deliver results.
