The role at a glance

If you like fast-paced environments, commercial decision-making and working at the sharp end of retail, fresh produce is hard to beat. This is a hands-on commercial role where the market moves quickly, priorities shift daily and your decisions genuinely matter.

You'll be responsible for some of the UK's most high-profile supermarket customers, acting as the key point of contact and owning the commercial performance of those accounts end to end.

What you'll be doing

You'll have full responsibility for a portfolio of Top 4 retail customers, ensuring each account is commercially strong and operationally sound.

Your role will involve:

  • Leading commercial negotiations around pricing, promotions and volumes.

  • Developing and maintaining senior-level customer relationships.

  • Working closely with operations, supply chain and technical teams to ensure service, quality and availability.

  • Monitoring market conditions, crop challenges and trends to anticipate issues and opportunities.

  • Contributing to new product development and category initiatives with customers.

This is a role for someone comfortable making decisions in real time, managing competing priorities and keeping customers satisfied without losing sight of margin.
