A leading fresh produce business is looking for a Commercial Manager to join its high-performing commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven individual to take ownership of key retail relationships, influence strategic decisions, and play a central role in delivering growth across a fast-paced and innovative sector.

This position sits at the heart of the business, working closely with internal teams and supply partners to ensure high-quality produce reaches major retail customers while maximising value across the supply chain.

The Opportunity

You'll take responsibility for managing and developing key customer accounts, driving both revenue and profitability, while helping shape the commercial direction of the business. This is a highly visible role requiring strong relationship management, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate strategically within a dynamic environment.

You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, marketing, and product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and sustainable growth.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Account Manager role within FMCG.
  • Experience managing retail customers is essential.
  • Food industry experience is required, with fresh produce experience highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success delivering results in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent financial understanding, including pricing, margin management, and budgeting.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
