Are you an experienced commercial manager or buyer with a background in the food sector? Do you have experience managing complex commercial contracts and multiple supply chains simultaneously? Do you have experience in food-to-go or ready to eat categories? If so, we want to hear from you.

About the Job:
This role will focus on the food side of the business and be critical in the delivery of effective business away from the core estate. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver the best possible commercial results for the business and partners. You will have a strong commercial / retail buying background and will understand the levers to pull to effect the commercial results that the business delivers. You will be au fait with complicated supply chains, a variety of customers and retail formats, pricing models, promotion strategies etc. You will be very focused on commercial trading within this role.

The Ideal Candidate:
As the ideal candidate you will have significant experience in a commercially focused role (buying or sales) in a fast paced food sector. Ideally, you will have experience in managing commercial relationships with a variety of outlets and customers including; retail, convenience, franchise, catering, concession, forecourt etc. You will have a proven track record of delivering commercial results and be able to communicate your decisions, reasoning and methods concisely. You will have solid understanding of, or posses P+L responsibility. You will be able to create an effective commercial trade plan and strategy and have the capability to deliver it. Someone with a mixture of experience in retail, food service and franchise would be considered the ideal.

Minimum Requirements:
As a minimum, you will have a proven track record of delivering commercial results in the food-to-go or ready to eat sectors. You will be a strong communicator and team player and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers experience great service. You will be able to show your track record of delivering long term sustainable relationships with suppliers/customers that are also commercially strong.
