About Our Client

We are working with a leading fresh produce importer who pack a range of fresh produce for retail and foodservice customers. Due to internal promotions they are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join the team.

About the Job

Assist the Group Technical Director, Group Head of Responsible Sourcing and Senior Compliance Manager in matters appertaining to product safety, quality and legality. You will report into the Technical Compliance Coordinator. Ypu will liaise with suppliers to collate accurate and relevant due diligence. You will also communicate current approval status at each stage of due diligence on a weekly basis to the business within Technical, Procurement and Commercial teams.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be someone who has previous experience in fresh produce or food in technical compliance or a Graduate who wanted to get into a Technical position within a fresh produce business.
