Compliance Manager | Fresh Produce | Dartford

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join a leading grower, importer, packer and distributor of fresh produce. Due to expansion this is a new role that has been created within the team.

Our Client

Our client is a well established grower, importer, packer and distributor of fresh produce. They are a multi-national business with operations in the UK, Spain and South Africa. They offer a variety of produce, including soft fruit, citrus, salads and vegetables. They work hard to add value to their customers and the team is made up of passionate fresh produce specialists. The business has grown over the years to offer more services and variety of products.

The role

You will take ownership of site compliance by ensuring all aspects of food safety, Quality Management Systems operate as required and the company remains fully compliant with customer COP, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and current legislation. Take ownership of Farm site compliance and lead BRC, Tractor Tractor and other third party audits that relate to food safety and compliance. You will also Assist the Technical Managers with customer visits or audits on site. You will need to ensure that the site is 'audit ready' at all times.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will need have experience of managing QMS and document control, also experience of Red Tractor and internal auditing is essential. HACCP Level 2 minimum and Food Safety Level 2 minimum. You will also need working knowledge of BRC.
