About Our Client

Our client is a family business with a passion for fresh produce, they are a leader in the UK distribution of fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy and cheese. With the headquarters on the outskirts of London, and with depots around the UK, they manage over 3,000 orders each day to the UK's leading restaurants and hotels.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to engage and build relationships with external stakeholders to contribute towards the business and its growing customer base. Your main goal in this role is to build relationships with the chefs and buyers of the customer account base by field visits, email and phone.

You will be responsible for growing the existing Solstice customer base, prospect and sign new accounts, ensure customer purchasing portals are updated, aligned, and signed off with the customer. In addition, you will make sure that all customer requirements / complaints are promptly responded to when received and responded to appropriately while also be willing to undertake any other duties in relation to the customer service team as may be reasonably required.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience managing customer expectations and have sales experience within fine dining.

Minimum Requirements

As minimum you must have excellent listening, questioning and feedback skills. In addition, you will possess very good computer skills, professional manner, and good verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and remain calm whilst still maintaining attention to detail. The ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines and resolve queries are must haves.
