The Role
As Deputy Garden Centre Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the centre, supporting the Garden Centre Manager in all aspects of leadership and commercial performance. Alongside this, you will take direct responsibility for the Plant Area, ensuring it is well-presented, fully stocked, and delivering excellent sales results.

- Proven experience in retail management, ideally within a garden centre or horticultural environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Good plant knowledge and enthusiasm for gardening
- A customer-first mindset with excellent service and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive sales and profitability
- Organisational ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required
