We are working with a well renowned and brilliant consultancy business that provides valuable advice, analysis and strategic advice to farmers and landowners up and down the UK. They provide an outstanding service to their clients with in-depth and original advice which has given them an excellent reputation with clients and customers alike.

The Job:

You will be joining their tightly knit team in a consultancy role, working alongside colleagues to provide a valuable service to the existing clients in the South East/Central South and building your own network of loyal clients who you will help with all aspects of Farm Management. You will be advising on everything from all round agricultural consultancy, diversification projects and land management plans. The variety of the projects and the ever changing requirements of clients means that this role is superbly varied and no two days or projects will be the same.

This role will predominantly revolve around the office; however travel to see clients and go out to get on farm experience will be a regularity and no doubt help you in understanding your clients and their businesses better.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Hold a degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in agriculture, agribusiness or similar sector.

Hands on experience of farm management or consultancy will be required. We are ideally looking for someone who understands the intricacies of advising farmers and landowners for over 2 years.

Excellent written, Microsoft Office and communication skills will help you build and maintain relationships, not only in the business but with clients also.

There is a great package available which can be scaled to the candidate, depending on their experience. We are interested in candidates who are farm managers looking to move into consultancy but also consultants looking for a change.
