About our Client

Our client is a leading grower packer of fresh produce into the retailer and food service sector. They are at the forefront of innovation and customer quality is key for them.

About the Role

As Factory Technical Lead you will be reporting to the Factory Manager and you will develop and lead a culture of quality and food safety across the business so that these become integrated as natural ways of working. You will be responsible for compliance along with being responsible for raw material and product testing in the factory in line with UK and EU legislation.

The Ideal Candidate

For this role, you will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology or food safety-related discipline. You will have a proven experience within a Factory Technical role ideally within a fresh produce environment. Experience in leading audits, BRC, and customers will be a given, along with managing, leading and coaching a team of QA's.
