We are working with one of the largest trading organisations based in the UK who, thanks to recent growth, are looking to add to their team in the East Midlands with an experienced buyer or trader.
In this role you will be working closely to support and develop farmers and suppliers in the local area providing them with quality service and a trusted professional on hand at all times. You will be working across grain, oilseeds and pulses across existing clients and developing your own new clients, further growing your network and the business.
The key to this role are growth and relationship management in line with the businesses code of ethics and with a responsibility to grow every relationship through both technical and personal relationship skill.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Ideally experience working in an arable farming environment in a commercial sales role with more than 2 years experience.
Experience managing a client database via a CRM system.
Excellent commercial awareness of competitors and the market.
Outstanding Microsoft Office, relationship management and communication skills.
