The Company
Our client is a long established, family owned agricultural business with a proud history of producing high quality poultry for over 70 years. They are known for their supportive culture, strong values, and commitment to animal welfare. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicated Farm Manager to join their team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the daily care, welfare, and performance of broiler flocks across the site. Your duties will include:
Ensuring animal welfare is always the highest priority
Maintaining excellent welfare and biosecurity standards
Completing all required records to meet Red Tractor and IPPC compliance
Overseeing daily needs such as feed, water, litter, ventilation, and bird movement
Liaising with internal technical and supervisory teams regarding flock health and performance
Undertaking evening site checks when required
Working to high health and safety standards
Learning and adopting new technologies and processes
Carrying out any additional tasks related to poultry farming as reasonably required
What You Need
Ideally NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject
Experience working with livestock, preferably broilers
A strong commitment to animal welfare and high production standards
Self motivation and the ability to work independently
Flexibility and a proactive attitude
Good record keeping skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
